Abstract

Life style of rural people is moderately changed in India due to so many reasons & factors - (a) Government policies like Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act- MGNREGA(Creation of work for poor), (b) Free education for poor children at school and college level , Right to Education.(c) Every corner village is connected with nearby towns i.e. frequent visits to towns of rural people, (d) Rural people’s connectivity with Electronic media and brands high promotional strategies through electronic media. Now the rural customer is expecting as what urban concern. Towards this the attitudinal (way of behavior) changes occurred in rural customer’s mind set. The purpose of this study is to find the factors behind the change of attitude of a rural customer towards branded packaged food.
