Abstract

United nation development program focuses on gender equality and women empowerment as they are considered it as a pathway to achieve sustainable development. They work to ensure that women have a real voice so that they can participate equally with men in public dialogue and decision making that will determine the future of their families and countries. Empowering women is an indispensable tool for advancing development and reducing poverty.
