Abstract

The banking industry has changed due to internet banking. Banking is now no longer confined to the branches only. One needs not to depend on the branches to withdraw cash, to deposit cheque or to get the statement of accounts. Transactions are processed without any reference to branches at any time. This service is increasingly liked by everyone. In most of the developed countries net banking is the cheapest way of providing banking service. In the present paper we have discussed the advantages, history and progress of the world of internet banking industry.
