Abstract

With increased competition in the market, companies make each and every effort to hire the best employee for its organisation. The employer knows that the employee who is competent enough will work as an advantage for the company. It will lead to the better performance of the company and help in achieving the goals of the organisation. That is why these days candidate faces a stiff competition for getting the job. When the candidate is selected for the job he/she should be given proper orientation training. Theemployer needs to know the importance ofthe orientation /induction training to the new employee. Orientation training means to give the basic information about the company to understand the job better.
