The purpose of the study was to assess achievement motivation among volleyball players of different levels. A total number of 60 subjects were selected, further these male volleyball players were classified as 30 Inter- Collegiate volleyball players and 30 Inter- University level volleyball players. One psychological variable (achievement motivation) was selected for the purpose of the study. The data was computed and analyzed by descriptive statistic followed by t- test. It was hypothesized that there will be a significant difference among inter-college and inter –university volleyball players. The result of the study indicates that there was no significant differences obtained on the psychological variable of Achievement motivation with respect to comparison among inter- university and inter-collegiate level volleyball players.
