Human Resource Management (HRM) is main assets of an organization. The various names of HRM are personal management, man power management, employer relation, human relation, labour management relation, industrial relation etc. It produces, develops and maintains competent workforces in the organization. HRM is a set of policies, practices and programmes to design personal and organizational goals. The main role of HRM is to acquire right man at right job at right time in right number.HRM is the planning, organizing, directing and controlling the operative functions of procurement, development, compensation and maintaining human resources of an organizations goals or objectives. The scope of HRM is very vast starting from recruitment, retainment and retirement. HRM has to face challenges like change management, leadership development and HR effectiveness measure.
