Abstract
The United Nations (UN) was established in 1945 with the primary objective of preventing future wars and promoting international peace and security. Emerging from the devastation of the Second World War, the organization was designed to provide a platform for international cooperation, collective security, conflict resolution, and peaceful coexistence among nations.
