Abstract

Human resource information system (HRIS) is not a new concept but with the changing environment it is evolving and improving.The aim of this study is to find the number of organizations using human resource information system (HRIS) and to note its impact on process improvement of human resource management activities in organizations operating in Odisha. In this survey, a total of 21 companies across Odisha were shortlisted from six different sectors namely information technology, real estate, business process outsourcing, financial services, manpower consulting and travel & tourism.In addition, we also provide concrete insight on the views of human resource professional for process improvement of human resource management due to human resource information system (HRIS).
