Abstract

The World Air Quality Report 2019 compiled by IQAir Air Visual highlighted a scary fact for Indians by stating in their findings that Ghaziabad is the most polluted city in the world with India ranked as the 5th most polluted country in 2019. The alarming rate in which environmental degradation is taking place in India is an irony for the land in which hundreds of years ago Vedas have strongly propagated sustainable development.
