DETAILS STUDY OF AGRICULTURE AND TYPES OF LAND IN HIGHER HIMALAYAN REGION: A CASE STUDY OF TEHSIL MUNSYARI

Abstract

Agriculture is primary occupation that is doing with positive condition of Climate, Vegetation and Soil. Spread and trend of agriculture is finding between tropical rain forest to desert of Sahara and Preyari from northern part of Canada to Stepi Grassland from middle Asia. Diversity in agriculture provide by natural condition and their social, cultural and political factor. Uttarakhand is an agriculture dominated state in India. 74.03 % people lived in Villages in India, which is employed in primary sector (agriculture, herbs, forest etc.). Many types of effect can find by natural condition in trend of agriculture in higher Himalaya Tehsil Munsyari of State Uttarakhand. Tehsil Munsyari is worldwide famous for natural beauty with their good quality and tasty Rajma (Beans) production. That type of Beans produce in Tehsil Munsyari can only in whole Uttarakhand. The resident of Tehsil Munsyari was produce of grains for his consumption since ancient time, they are depends on above import of grains. Wheat, Rice, Barley, Corn, Finger Millet, Pearl Millet, Pulses and Local Vegetables production mainly is here. Animal Husbandry is doing as a main Occupation in Munsyari, in which Cow-Ox, Buffalo, Horse, rabbit and it’s apart from Goat, Sheep, Poultry Farming, Bee Keeping etc. mainly doing.
