The information from U.S Small Business Administration revealing that the businesses which are owned by the women are one among the rapid – growing sectors of small business community. Many factors which are contributing to their development are noticed in the new research. Several varieties of factors are highlighted in the study which are encouraging women to enter into entrepreneurial career in addition with the challenges that are associated with it. Particularly, 61 percent women want to be their own boss, whereas, more than half are waiting for a chance to get control over their own destiny. From the study, it is revealed that, women are actively taking control over their professional intentions and selecting entrepreneurial path to self – independence, personal gratification and financial success. Following their passion, the chance of making more money than they earn by working for some others and the chance of spending more time with their family were among some reasons which are said by the women to choose to become entrepreneurs.
