SOFT SKILLS: KEY OF SUCCESS FOR ADMINISTRATORS AND TEACHERS

Abstract

Soft skills and hard skills are important skills which help and teachers to do their job perfectly. This article discusses leadership soft skills like Communication Skills, Presentation Skills, Negotiations Skills, Time management, Personal effectiveness, Positive Work Attitude, Passion towards work, Commitment, Usage of Information Technology by Technical colleges administrators and teachers. The Education Minister has announced that technical teachers should also get training of teaching for the development of their leadership soft skills. It also discusses the need of leadership soft skills for administrators and teachers of technical colleges. As we know, quality of teaching depends on quality of teachers. Teaching process is a very complex process, that's why apart from knowledge it needs variety of skills. In conclusion administrators and teachers should understand the importance of leadership soft skills for the betterment of a student and positive change in their own attitude, behaviors and IT skills .
