Abstract

Almost one-third of the world’s population comprises of children. Hence it is necessary to pay special attention for their proper growth. Children are important part of the social structure. Children are a human resource, invaluable but vulnerable, yet developing with a potentiality to bloom with joy in an atmosphere of a carrying society. They are all inquisitive, active and full of hope. Their life should be full of joy and peace, playing, learning and growing. It is extremely crucial that their future should be fashioned in accord and cooperation. Legal policy have undergone radical change, from a point where children were treated as non-entity and fabric objects to a position of human dignity where children were they are protected not only from exploitation and mistreatment but also enable to develop their full potentiality with access to food, health and education. Human rights movement for creating child friendly environment for their wholesome development is pertinent. Human rights demand greatest blessings on people of tender age where they can have potentiality of influencing the legal and social system. It requires special defense of children so that they can find an chance to develop their personality to the fullest extent. Further children are most vulnerable section of the society; therefore their growth depends upon how society and legal system treat them with love and affection. The Society taking utmost care of children, are building bright future of a nation.
