Abstract

This paper examined the basic factors influencing the choice of mode of entering a foreign market by multinational companies. The choice of mode of entry into the foreign market (country) is the most crucial decision. It will have great impact on the company’s success. The objective of this paper is to have the understanding of the factors influencing choice of modes of entering a foreign market. There are various modes of entering a foreign market and so there are various factors that influence this choice for MNC’s. These factors are classified as internal and external factors. This paper is based on the secondary sources of research.
