Abstract

I take this opportunity to thank Professor Yogesh Sharma, Centre for Historical Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, for constantly guide from the very beginning of my research, from M. Phil, Ph D and Post Doctoral Research. Without his guidance and supervision it would be impossible for to reach this far. In spite of my poor background Professor Yogesh Sharma, continue to encourage regardless of his busy schedule. Whenever I seek any help, he never hesitates to instruct me in the right direction. Apart of this I am very grateful to the University Grant Commission for giving me Post Doctoral Fellowship, which I am very indebted without this financial assistance I would not able to pursue further studies.
