Abstract

What is a Border? Borders are the line of separation between two geographical or political entities such as states, nations or other subnational entities etc. They are marked by the territorial limits of the states or nations that provides full sovereignty to the state to exercise control on the territory. Not only this, borders are also psychological. Borders are more about people than that of territories. It is the notion that each individual of different identities carry within themselves across the world. The concept of border is also strengthened and weakened by the feeling possessed by an individual for the people on the other side of the line of control.
