Abstract

The present paper is an effort to conceptualize the ideas of Sri Aurobindo Ghosh on the Indian Culture. For better comprehension, the paper is divided into three parts. The first part of the paper throws light on the life and history of Sri Aurobindo as his bringing had a great role in shaping of his ideas on Culture & Civilization. The second part which is the soul of the present paper deals with the cultural ideas of Sri Aurobindo which further divided into three sub points: Spirituality & Religion; Art & Architecture and Literature (Religious, scriptures) & Language (Sanskrit). The last part of the paper concludes the various dimensions of the present paper.
