Abstract

In the age of globalization, business firms either domestic or international have been making strategic alliance. Strategic alliances help them to enter new markets, adapt new technologies, bypass legal & political restrictions and learn from industry leaders. It is an agreement for common objectives with mutual benefits. No one (single firm or co.) is able to control all over the market, the best way adopted to become on a dominant market position is in the form of “Mergers and Acquisitions”. Every firm trying to get its benefits in one form or another. Both ownership and control change due to M & As.
