Abstract

The language acquisition faculty is a typically human capacity, unique to human begins. It is species - specific. Acquisition of language takes place automatically, children imbibing the language of the community in which they grand up without any conscious effort. Parents eager to hear their child speak, often try to teach him but even without any such ceding, a normal child will acquire the language of the Environment of which he is exposed.
