Abstract

Abstract This paper is an attempt to analyze various issues in global human resource management. It is a well known fact that for effective functioning of any multinational corporation, international human resource management is very important. The management of any organization is possible only when human resource is given due acknowledgement and focus is laid on its development. Cost of expatriate failure proves very high to the global business unit. The global company incurs huge expenditure as traveling cost, incurs training cost on training the next expatriate who will take place of original expatriate. It also involves indirect cost to business in the form of bad effect on reputation of organization, reduction in morale and productivity of employees, etc. The human resource management is concerned with the procurement, development, compensation, integration and maintenance of the personnel of an organization for the purpose of contributing towards the accomplishment of the organization major goals or objectives .The main objective of the present study is to identify the challenges in international human management in changing dimensions of global business.
