Abstract

Feminism is a set of social, political, and ideological movements aimed at defining and establishing political, economic, personal, and social equality between the genders. Feminism adopts the stance that societies prioritize males and that women are treated unfairly in these societies. Efforts to change this include combating gender stereotypes and creating equal educational, professional, and personal opportunities for women.
