Abstract

The study was conducted in readymade garment manufacturing units. These garment industries are providing employment to persons. The investigation was done by a questionnaire survey and by observations in the workplace. It is revealed that majority of 49.0 per cent men and 36.3 per cent women get injured with needles. Whereas 21.8 percent male and 29.0 per cent female get injured by scissors during cutting at workplace.
