Abstract

The teachers in 21st century will have to deal with a world quantitatively different from that of 20th century in respect of pedagogical and technological advancement. It is high time to introduce ICT based application and methodologies during the teacher training. Through ICT education it will help access online professional learning, analyze, plan and implement changes in their teaching approach. This article presents a quantitative study on gender differences in attitudes toward the usage of Information Technology (IT) related tools and applications. The study was conducted at with 50 student teachers. They were each presented with a questionnaire to relate their attitudes toward IT.
