Abstract

One of the hideous forms of Marginalization is Social Exclusion. In British India, Criminal Tribes Act of 1871 and Criminal Tribes Settlements Act of 1925 impelled several Indian tribes away from the mainstream of society and were incarcerated in specially created settlements called chorbasti.
