Abstract

Growing awareness on the variety of environmental problems has led to a change in the way consumers go about their daily life. There has been a sea change in consumer attitudes and behaviours towards the environment. People in general and consumers in particular are gradually moving towards reducing their impact on the environment. But this idea is still not mainstream, especially in a country like India. Companies however have observed this change in consumer attitude and are trying to gain an advantage in the market by taking advantage of the promise of
