Abstract

This article explores the significance of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) as a platform for collaboration and multilateral relations among nations. It examines India’s growing prominence within the SCO, starting from its induction as a full-time member in 2017. The expansion of the SCO with the inclusion of India and Pakistan is discussed, highlighting the benefits for current members and the geopolitical legitimacy gained by Russia.
