Abstract

India is an agrarian country. Nearly two-thirds of Indian population depends on agriculture for its livelihood. Share of agriculture in total Indian exports account for nearly 18 %. All three sectors of economy are inter-linked to each other and are collectively responsible for overall economic development of the country. In the present study, an attempt has been made to assess the growth, instability and decomposition analysis of Indian agriculture.
