Abstract

The act of separating oneself or being isolated from others is referred to as seclusion. It can be voluntary or involuntary, and it can be caused by a variety of circumstances, including personal decision, mental health concerns, physical sickness, or societal factors like prejudice or marginalisation. Seclusion may be a pleasant experience in some situations, providing individuals with time for contemplation, rest, and isolation.
