Abstract

Jammu and Kashmir, a former state, is one of India's top producers of hydroelectricity. The region has a hydroelectric capacity of 20,000 MW, demonstrating its abundance in energy. As a result, residents may expect a constant supply of electricity. However, given that a clear regional disparity was found during the study, the reality does not appear to support the assumption.
