Abstract

Uttarakhand was created on November 9, 2000 after a new political and administrative process. But Uttarakhand was connected to Tibet socially and culturally from ancient times. Uttarakhand is situated in between East of Nepal, West of Himachal Pradesh. At present Uttarakhand is divided into GARHWAL and KUMAON, two MANDALS and 13 districts.
