Abstract

Paramadeva is lees known poet in the Kannada literary scene . Turanga Bharata is one of his finest works and treats the story of Mahabharata.Though the work is influenced by the works of Vyasa and Kumara Vyasa, the direction and the rhythm used in the work is unique. The work is named to Turanga Bharata for the very purpose. This study tries to analytically present the unique aspects of Parama deva's work.
