Abstract

The paper focuses on people’s attitude towards HIV, their knowledge and most importantly deals with the health issues faced by women. Women suffering from HIV AIDS account for approximately one half of the total HIV infections worldwide. Sexual contact is the dominant mode of HIV transmission in women additionally, there is a concomitant association of epidemic transmission to infants.
