Abstract

This paper discusses the trend and progress of health care services provided by primary health care centres in Tamilnadu. Primary health centres play a more vital role in rural public health than other multi-speciality hospital services in Tamilnadu. The total number of patients getting services is varied year by year. The number of per primary health care centres for getting medical services was slowly reduced due to the impact more number of PHC establishment by Tamilnadu government and a number of private hospital establishments.
