Abstract

For centuries, a heinous crime is being practiced against woman that is Witch-Hunting. It is actually a dreadful violence that is surely gender-based which undermines women’s dignity. It is such a horrible practice which snatches away women’s right to live a respectful and peaceful life. This research paper endeavor to study the witch belief and witch hunt practices and its portrayal in certain literary works.
