Abstract

There is a tremendous increase in FDI inflows at the time when environment consciousness has increased. Considering the UN SDGs 2030, the current study aims to review the existing literature on FDI inflows and environment degradation. Also, it reviews and assesses the regulatory framework in India in regards the environment protection. Each economy must ensure an optimal policy regime to maintain the optimal level of environment quality.
