Abstract

In an isolated, underdeveloped region of Jammu province in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, lies a small sub-region known as Paddar in Kishtwar district. This sub-region is habituated by Buddhist tribal communities since ages. This area is totally underdeveloped and even the roads have not reached to few villages in which these marginalized communities live.
