Abstract

In India, the practice of triple talaq is being followed in society with the support of traditions; but it is not acceptable in society due to the violation of rights of others. In civilized society, gender equality should be the most important aspect and integral part. An expressed provision has been made in the Constitution of India, but it is not being implemented strictly; a strict implementation of these provisions is much needed.
