EFFECT OF GENDER, LOCALE AND CASTE ON PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY AMONG SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract

The study was carried out , with aim to examine effect of gender, locale and caste on problem solving ability of secondary school students. Researcher selected 1200 secondary school students for the study, applied problem solving ability scale to collect data. After collection of data, it annalysed and after statistical treatment, it has been found that in all three main effects, all are found to be significant whereas interactional effects are different which are discussed below. One main thing occurred that ST needs to be get more attention of education system as well as govt. as in all results, it shows least Problem solving ability.
