Lord Ganesha, the destructor of all obstacles, is a true global Indian deity, worshiped as the First God ‘nirvighanam kuru me deva, sarva karyeshu sarvada’ to get rid of all hindrances before beginning any task . Ganesha’s presence can be found spread over nearby countries such as Japan, Indonesia, Myanmar to some of the farthest Western countries like the USA.
