Abstract

Job involvement is defined as the identification with one's employer that includes the willingness to work hard on behalf of the organization, i.e. to become involved in the organization, participate in decision-making and internalize managerial values, and the intention to remain with the organization for an extended period of time. Cho, J., & Dansereau, F. Job involvement is viewed as the perceived need to maintain a relationship given the significant anticipated termination or switching costs associated with leaving the organization.
