Abstract

The research aimed to study the effect of life skills training on social competence among secondary school students. Method: The sample comprised of 40 students, both boys and girls, who were studying in 9th class in Government senior secondary smart school, Patiala district of Punjab. This was a pre-test and post-test with control group, quasi-experimental research. 20 students were assigned in experimental group and 20 in control group. Both the groups were matched on the basis of academic achievement and intelligence. Life skills training programme was conducted in 15 sessions for 45 minutes each.
