Abstract

Infertility is defined as disease of reproductive system in which female is unable to get pregnant even after engaging her male partner/husband and herself in regular unprotected sexual intercourse for at least a year (WHO, 2018). Infertility can be primary in couples who have never conceived or secondary in couples who have previously conceived. Individuals who suffer from infertility have been seen to experience infertility related stress and psychological distress. The present study aimed to explore the comparison of level of psychological distress, infertility related stress and dyadic adjustment between husbands and wives undergoing infertility treatment. Along with it, researchers studied correlation of infertility related stress, psychological distress and dyadic adjustment.
