Abstract

The onset of covid19 pandemic on humankind has given birth to numerous challenges impacting human lives. Likewise, relationships in the society have become vulnerable due to social disengagement, lack of social support and burdened roles on both men and women. The isolation, loss of jobs and social restraints have strained the relationships of couples. Therefore, this phenomenon has given rise to anxiety, burdened responsibilities, and unequal distribution of household work. Further leading to challenges impacting the lives of couples in the lockdown time span.
