Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic, also known as the coronavirus pandemic, is an ongoing pandemic of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome. To assess the impact of Free Tablet Scheme 2021 on the learning of higher secondary students during the COVID pandemic in West Bengal, the researcher conducted an offline-online (blended) semi-structured interview to collect the data. This article emphasised how the Free Tablet Scheme is beneficial during pandemics. Therefore, the opinions of learners, teachers, and parents on the free tablet scheme during lockdown are pointed out. The merits and demerits of the free tablet scheme are also discussed.
