Abstract

As primary providers, managers, and users of water, women are often in an ideal spot to help drive productive change in the design and maintenance of water systems, water distribution, and policymaking. What can be done to increase women’s involvement in water management? The data is taken on the basis of studies done in countries all over the world like China, Pakistan, Uganda, Tanzania, South Africa, and Peru. The data mainly related to the participation of women in India has been compiled. This study shows that women have an important role in saving water management.
