Abstract

Today mental health has become a big issue as suicide is the leading cause of disability and death among people worldwide despite having materialistic development. WHO estimates that about 7.5 percent of Indians have some mental disorder and predicts that roughly 20 percent of India will suffer from mental illnesses by the end of this year. According to the number, 56 million Indians suffer from depression, and another 38 million Indians suffer from anxiety disorders.
