Abstract

Human lives and Indian economy have no choice escaping the novel Covid19 pandemic. Uncalled lockdown and shutdown to overcome the deadly health emergency disrupted the socioeconomic status of the country. On the other hand, Covid-19 has had a huge influence on the Indian real estate market so far, putting real estate developers under a lot of financial duress. Furthermore, as the sector prepares for the third wave, there may be certain additional obstructions and hurdles to overcome. However, steps taken by the government during the pandemic, such as faster vaccination programs, subsidized housing schemes for the economically poor sections, and financial compensation for waged laborers, have been a welcome reprieve for the real estate business.
