Abstract

Given the particular circumstance and its approaching needs, it has been stated that India’s response to the Covid–19 outbreak underscores the developing necessity for judicial intervention. The disastrous effects of the epidemic, it is claimed, necessitate the customary role of judicial intervention in India. Despite taking the lead in creating rules for a nationwide lockdown, the government has failed to defend the people’s fundamental rights. While acknowledging the progressive judgments previously issued by numerous courts, the need for judicial intervention in certain neglected situations is emphasized.
