Abstract

Traditional banking has taken a leap in the form of digital banking. It was difficult to provide formal financial services in each and every location of the country but digital payment platforms came as a saviour in for this problem and it is taking the economy towards digital financial inclusion. With the development of communication and internet in the country, it is possible to access financial services at any place using a mobile device. A person can pay bills, transfer money as well as invest his money just by a mobile device and internet by downloading an e payment application. The Study is an attempt to identify the factors that are responsible for developing an acceptance towards the digital payment platforms by reviewing the available literature. Some of the major identified factors include perceived usefulness, perceived security, facilitating conditions, trust and perceived cost.
