Abstract

In present time, media as a main key factor in decision-making process in terms of political, social, cultural, economic and geographical. It helps to establish democracy, make bonding with people and furnish the ideas in the society. There are so many factors which effect media’s role like Television Rating Point, Media Net, Private Treaty, Ownership and Yellow Journalism etc. These are keys point to decide media’s role in particular country. Today Nepal is one of the smallest democratic country in the world. In Nepal, media had so much restriction in past decades but it could be proved to encourage the people in democratic process and played a vital role in political transition of Nepal.
